ENZO Olive Oil Company

Benefiting from my father’s wisdom and with the help and support of my wife, Frances, we built a diversified business by planting plums and cotton. My goal in founding P-R Farms, Inc. in 1956 was to bring forth growth while maintaining quality at every juncture. In 2008, my son Vincent and I officially entered the olive oil business. In 2011, our ENZO Olive Oil Company milled its first harvested crop of organic olives.

The Ricchiuti family story begins with a voyage from Vincenzo Ricchiuti’s native Italy. Setting foot on fertile American soil in the year 1914, Vincenzo planted the seeds of a family business which would eventually grow for generations in the heart of California’s Central San Joaquin Valley. A vegetable grower by trade, he knew that diversification would be the key to long term success. With this in mind, Vincenzo planted the first family acreage with grapes and figs.

Benefitted by his father’s wisdom, Pat Ricchiuti began his career as a grower, packer, and shipper after returning home from serving his country in 1946. With the help and support of his wife, Frances, they continued to diversify their business by planting plums and cotton. This proved to be the beginning of the expansion which Pat Ricchiuti envisioned. His goal for the newly founded P-R Farms, Inc. in 1956 was to bring forth growth while maintaining quality at every juncture.

As the town started to expand to the north, so did the Ricchiuti holdings. In 1965, Pat and Frances were joined by their son Patrick, and together they advanced the family business into an international venture. The P-R Farms, Inc. label quickly became known worldwide for premium quality peaches, plums, apricots, nectarines, citrus, grapes, almonds, and olives.

Over the years, Ricchiuti Family Farms has remained steadfast in its pursuit to meet consumer demands. With this goal in mind, in 2008, Patrick Ricchiuti and his son, Vincent, entered the olive oil business. In 2011, the Ricchiuti’s ENZO Olive Oil Company milled their first harvested crop of organic olives.
