- - News! -- October 1, 2008 Governor Schwarzenegger signed landmark legislation, Senate Bill 634, on
Tuesday. This is the culmination of tremendous effort and perseverance. The
bill, sponsored by the COOC with the support of Senator Patricia Wiggins,
conforms olive oil labeling and grades with international standards.
The legislation will take effect on January 1, 2009.
